This is the most intimate part of my practice; the constant companion and guardian of my thoughts and experiements. I will share sketches, new materials, poetry, death, inspirations, automatic drawing and painting, how Vivien Westwood inspired me and a typhoon with you. This was my sketchbook during the Covid19 lockdown when I was stranded in Central Vietnam. Through this period of solitude, I rediscovered the elements of art that had thrilled me as an art student and I found the courage to take a new direction.

All of us forget to clean our acrylic painting brushes sometimes and they end up more like chisels than flexible brushes. Here, I show you how to restore even the most damaged brushes back to 'good as new'

Learning how to mix and control colours and their intensity is the key to succssful painting. Understanding that the use of harmonious colours or complementary colours gives you control of light and mood. This is a short introduction to get you started and, after that, you should get to know your colour palette by repeating these exercises again and again so you can use them with greater confidence and get better results.
