My abstract work centres around maps, science and human connections. The colours and patterns within the maps respond to the way I feel about each location. 'Crossings' is inspired by visits to cities where connections are made by the networks of bridges, boats, ferries, trains, trams, pathways, flyovers and green corridors and the task of navigating them using maps, directions and landmarks.
