The poor crocodile has a bad reputation. It looks like a dragon an sometimes lurks like an innocent log. It can rocket out of shallow waters to grab its next meal or bask in the sun, grinning because it can only sweat from its tongue. But, this magnificent primeval beast has survived over 85 million years. Every time I look at a crocodile, I visualise prehistoric landscapes, dinosaurs, tropical swamps and soaring pterodactyls! Crocodiles are phenomenal.
