During lockdown, I thought a lot about our precious natural resources and became alarmed at the rate of destruction of our irreplaceable rainforests. This painting is all about lying on our backs and gazing up at the richness of a forest canopy and how our spirit soars up through the trees as if we could fly. What if the trees were gone? Then there would be no dappled sunlight, no heady aroma of dense undergrowth. There would only be sky and........ silence.. The original is sold but custom giclee prints are available.
