Gates to a mountain temple near Da Nang, Vietnam. Mountains, being closer to the heavens, are sacred places in many belief systems and none more so than in Asian beliefs. The more arduous the climb to the sacred place, the more satisfying one's struggle. This gate is one of several that must be passed through on a climb to the sacred cave hidden within this mountain that rises 100mtrs above a flat coastal plain in Central Vietnam.
